Service Care Solutions are seeking a dedicated and experienced Waste Collection Driver (Cat C1) to join our clients team on a 3-month contract. This role is vital in ensuring the completion of household waste collection services, delivering excellent customer service while maintaining a strong focus on health and safety.
Waste Collection Driver Key Responsibilities:
* Supervise waste collection crews and manage daily operational functions, including maintaining records (both paper-based and electronic handheld devices)
* Carry out physically and mentally demanding tasks in all weather conditions
* Ensure the safe collection of waste bins along your designated route, safeguarding the wellbeing of employees, colleagues, and members of the public
* Operate mechanical machinery for emptying refuse containers
* Maintain and ensure the cleanliness, maintenance, and security of vehicles, plant, and equipment
* Work independently or under the guidance of a line manager to deliver services efficiently and effectively
* Adhere to all Health & Safety regulations, including safe working practices and CPC guidelines.
