Key Responsibilities
1. Provide high-quality veterinary care to a diverse range of cases including general surgery, orthopaedics, and emergency care.
2. Work closely with a skilled team to deliver both routine and complex treatments using state-of-the-art medical equipment including ultrasound, X-ray, and dental X-ray facilities.
3. Participate in the continuous development of your clinical skills with the opportunity to specialise in areas of personal interest.
4. Collaborate with our 24/7 Bolton site to ensure comprehensive round-the-clock care and seamless patient management.
Skills and Qualifications
1. Qualified Veterinary Surgeon with strong experience in emergency and critical care.
2. Excellent clinical skills with a keen interest in further developing your expertise in orthopaedics or general surgery.
3. Strong communication skills, able to effectively connect with pet owners and colleagues.
4. Passionate about contributing to a social mission and providing care to pets in a community setting.
5. Ability to work well within a team and foster a positive working environment.
Our Offer
1. A competitive salary range of £48,000 to £74,000, reflective of experience and skills.
2. Flexible working hours, based on a 4-day week plus one weekend per month, with additional flexible shift options available.
