Job Title: PBS Team Leader - Learning Disabilities & Complex Needs
Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
Location: North London/Hertfordshire – Haringey, Barnet, and Potter’s Bar

Overview:
Compass Associates is working closely with a trusted provider in the care sector to recruit a PBS Team Leader. This exciting role offers the opportunity to lead and shape in-house PBS practice, working across multiple supported living services in North London and Hertfordshire.
As a PBS Team Leader, you will lead a team, drive PBS initiatives, and ensure the delivery of high-quality care for individuals with learning disabilities and complex needs. This is an ideal opportunity for someone with significant PBS experience who is looking to make a real difference in the lives of service users while supporting and developing a dedicated staff team.
Service User Support:
* Oversee a caseload of individuals with learning disabilities and complex needs, ensuring their development through PBS.
* Develop, review, and implement effective PBS plans tailored to each service user’s needs.
* Conduct site visits to monitor and improve PBS practices.
* Work towards reducing restrictive practices in line with the provider's policies.
* Manage and supervise a team of 10–20 staff across multiple locations.
* Deliver PBS and RPI training, as well as ongoing coaching and mentoring for staff.
* Support the professional growth and development of the team, fostering a positive working environment.
Quality & Compliance:
* Conduct fidelity checks to ensure the correct implementation of PBS plans.
* Provide reflective practice sessions and lead debriefs after incidents.
* Write assessment reports and contribute to service improvement strategies.
* Ensure all care practices align with the provider’s policies and CQC guidelines.
* At least 2 years of experience working with individuals with learning disabilities and autism in a supported living or residential setting.
* Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing PBS plans.
* Qualifications in PBS, Behaviour Analysis, or Psychology (Levels 2, 3, and 4 preferred).
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and develop staff.
* Excellent communication skills with a collaborative approach to working with both staff and service users.
