Senior Treasury Manager required for a Fast-Growth, Mission-Led Energy Business!
Stanton House is partnering with a rapidly scaling, purpose-driven Energy business on their search for a Senior Treasury Manager. This is a hybrid position, with 2 days per week required in either the Bristol office.
This role offers a unique opportunity to lead the Treasury function in a business at the forefront of the UK’s transition to a net-zero future. With significant cash flows under management, you’ll play a key role in ensuring effective control, forecasting accuracy, and liquidity strategy, whilst supporting broader business initiatives and cross-functional projects.
Key responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
1. Own and maintain the daily cash forecast, collaborating across the business to ensure accuracy and insight
2. Deliver daily updates on cash position, covenant headroom, and working capital drivers to senior management
3. Lead the long-term cash flow forecasting and budgeting process
4. Build and optimise treasury processes, policies, controls, and reporting frameworks
5. Act as a key business partner across finance and operations on treasury matters
6. Manage treasury relationships including retail banks, industry bodies and covenant reporting
7. Mentor and develop junior team members, ensuring a high-performing Treasury function
8. Oversee day-to-day operations, including payment execution and reconciliation within the ERP system
9. Support on strategic initiatives such as new product lines and regulatory changes
To be considered for this opportunity, you will have:
1. 3+ years of experience in a senior treasury or finance role, ideally within the energy or utilities sector
2. Proven experience of owning and developing robust cash forecasting models
3. Strong working knowledge of banking systems, Workday, and Excel-based modelling
4. Excellent communication skills with the ability to build strong cross-functional relationships
5. A proactive, hands-on approach, with a keen eye for detail and a drive for continuous improvement
6. Demonstrable experience managing a team or mentoring junior team members
