Operations Assistant
We have an exciting opportunity for an operations assistant to work with a fantastic and well-established company within the HVAC sector based in the vibrant market town of High Wycombe in Buckinghamshire.
This role is a temp to perm opportunity and is paying £30K-£33K per annum.
The role is fully office-based, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday.
You will support and develop the Operations Department to ensure effective operational support of the business infrastructure, including administrative tasks, project management, the preparation and maintenance of documents, spreadsheets, processes and procedures, the development of processing data via the ERP and CRM systems, and other general duties in support of the department and business.
The Role
A broad and varied role which requires a high degree of organisational skills and outstanding attention to detail. This role manages multiple tasks in a busy environment while ensuring standards and accuracy are maintained. Good communication skills are essential, and you must be committed to learning and personal development.
An advanced understanding of MS Word, Excel, and Outlook is required, along with responsibility for project management and ensuring that all tasks and projects are carried out to a high standard. You should be able to work independently and use your initiative to spot where improvements can be made. Support for business system development may be required, as well as assistance in the continuous improvement and development of business ISO Standards.
What You Will Be Doing
* Create and maintain data and systems for operational processes for Operations Director reporting, ensuring that data is stored, maintained to a set standard, and published where relevant.
* Undertake and manage projects assigned by the Operations Director to allow the Operations Department to develop and support the business through growth.
* Support the Operations Department with additional tasks that require assistance, guidance, and training to ensure consistency and reduce the possibility of delays in business activities.
* Identify potential areas and activities for business improvements, creating development plans for a proactive and structured approach.
* Carry out all tasks and areas of responsibility with confidence, diligence, integrity, and in the best interests of staff and the business.
We need a self-starter who is highly organised and can manage their time well as the role is an autonomous one. It is really important that you have previous experience in working with CRM systems, and you must have advanced to expert experience in Excel and Word, as well as experience using Office 365 and Outlook. Excellent communication skills and a high level of numeracy are a must.
