Support Engineer

We are working with a growing Software consultancy that has specific strengths in product, Microsoft, and bespoke Development.
They have a key requirement for an experienced Support Engineer to join their dynamic team.
The focus of the role will be for someone who can manage and prioritize in a fast-paced environment, triage support calls/tickets appropriately, and see these through to resolution within the individual agreed customer SLAs.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Ensure all support calls/tickets are responded to in a timely manner.
2. Improve customer service experience and manage client expectations.
3. Take ownership of customer issues and follow problems through to resolution.
4. Keep accurate records and document customer service actions and discussions.
5. Ensure support tickets are kept up to date.
6. Compile and circulate detailed support reports.
7. Work to triage support tickets and establish root causes, potentially taking full ownership of similar support calls that arise.
Our client is looking for someone with a background in customer service/support management and a good understanding of Microsoft products, who can demonstrate a clear track record of working in a busy support role managing and prioritizing a wide range of support issues. Technical coding abilities are desirable but not essential.
