14. To support the shift manager in managing the shift team and providing cover for manager absence.
15. To begin your management journey
16. To maintain, repair and support the equipment detailed within the agreed Dematic scope of contract on the Customers site.
17. Primarily ensuring delivery to both Dematic and the Customer’s expectations with the aim of achieving KPI targets at all times.
18. Undertake AMHE equipment servicing in accordance with the quality standards and time schedules as set out in the equipment manuals
19. To undertake scheduled repairs in accordance with the manufacturers recommendations and industry standard practices
20. Diagnosis of Mechanical / Electrical / Electronic / PLC / PC faults and subsequent repairs
21. Prioritise system faults
22. Compliance with Health & Safety legislation at all times
23. Ensure quality of output at all times
24. To accurately record all work undertaken
25. Involvement in continuous improvement and enhancement opportunities
26. Maintain product flow at all times
27. Ensure on-site spares are kept to optimum levels
28. Represent the company in a professional manner at all times and maintain customer relations
29. Adherence to the Quality processes and procedures as set out by the company
30. ONC in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering
31. IOSH working safely (desirable)
32. Experience in previously managing a team (desirable)
33. Foundation qualifications in people management (desirable)
34. Recognised Engineering Apprenticeship
35. A working understanding of Mechanical, Electrical & Electronic technical manuals & drawings
36. Basic understanding of control systems and problem solving techniques
37. Basic understanding of PLC equipment
38. Working at height experience and willingness
39. Previous experience of working with various conveyor systems
40. Good level of PC literacy
41. Understanding of pre-preventive maintenance (PPM) schedules
42. Working knowledge of FEM and BS standards governing the automated warehouse industry
43. Have a continuous improvement mentality
