The Role
The Metal Sales & Logistics Coordinator is responsible for managing metal movements across 10 sites, ensuring efficient and accurate administration of metal collections, bookings, and invoicing. This role requires a high level of administrative skill and basic knowledge of ELEMOS.
Location: Any Beauparc site
Key Responsibilities
* Liaise with all UK managers and sites for weekly requirements of metal collections (approximately 30 grades of metal sold to multiple buyers).
* Book collections with buyers for all sites and all metal grades.
* Set up all collections on ELEMOS, including site, grade, price, and buyers for each load.
* Communicate with sites regarding booked collections.
* Manage all collections, including rescheduling if needed, and handle any queries from sites or buyers.
* Reconcile buyer reports with ELEMOS.
* Invoice all metal loads for all sites and send invoices to customers.
* Weekly sampling schedule and progress checking.
* Monitor and report internal DMR quality as required.
* Conduct duty of care audits.
* Handle daily inbound bookings.
* Raise disposal POs.
* Administer outbound fuel, both UK and export.
* Process gypsum and wood chip orders.
* Provide cover for Key Account Manager and Sales Manager as required.
* Manage ad hoc projects.
* Perform general office duties, including answering phones.
Essential Qualifications And Skills
* GCSEs or equivalent.
* Proven administration experience.
* Computer literate.
* Highly proficient in IT, particularly Microsoft Office (Outlook and Excel).
* Thorough attention to detail.
* Ability to effectively organise and prioritise work.
* Ability to work to tight deadlines.
* Strong communication skills (telephone, written, and face-to-face).

* Degree.
* Experience in the waste industry.
* Geographical knowledge.
* Account management experience.
* Multi-tasking abilities.
* Relationship-building skills.
* A confident and friendly manner, with the ability to liaise with people at all levels of the organisation, as well as external businesses and other stakeholders.
* Willingness to learn and gain knowledge.
