We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join our team. The Role This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled and motivated engineer to work as part of a close-knit maintenance team. Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, youll be responsible for carrying out a mix of reactive and planned maintenance tasks across our busy production site. Youll liaise with departments throughout the business and play a key role in ensuring our plant and machinery operate efficiently and safely. On-the-job training will be provided. Duties & Responsibilities Respond to fault reports regarding plant and machinery. Undertake planned maintenance tasks in line with the preventative maintenance schedule. Support and complete tasks related to maintenance projects. Communicate effectively with Production Management regarding the status of ongoing repairs. Ensure all activities comply with company quality, environmental, and health & safety management systems. Experience & Skills Higher education qualification in an electrical discipline (essential). Apprenticeship experience in a manufacturing environment (desirable). Experience in plastics production (desirable). Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Strong communication skills across departments. Effective electrical fault-finding and problem-solving skills. Customer-focused approach. Benefits 32 days annual holiday (inclusive of bank holidays).
