We are looking for a highly skilled and committed Administrative Assistant to allocate, co-ordinate and monitor the work of Administrative Team, whilst also taking responsibility for the operation of the financial systems, including Devolved School Management (DSM).
As an Administrative Assistant you will work under the direction and supervision of the Administrative Co-ordinator and Business Manager.
As an Administrative Assistant, you will be required to:
Directly supervise a team to ensure an effective, efficient and co-ordinated administrative, secretarial and clerical support service for the Management Team.
Supervise and support a designated Team by allocating and scheduling work activities, setting targets and allocating resources to meet service delivery objectives.
Experience of working in an Educational setting.
Proven administrative skills and experience of a school office environment.
Ability to provide a regular and effective service.
Willingness to achieve the required qualification
(Please indicate if you intend to study to achieve the required HNC or equivalent within 2 years of appointment, if not already held)
You are required to have a HND or equivalent educational qualification to SCQF level 8 in a relevant discipline.
You will be given the opportunity to work towards this within 2 years from start of employment.
Before confirming to your appointment, you will be required to obtain Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme membership through Disclosure Scotland and become a member of the relevant PVG scheme.
