We are seeking a Finance and Monitoring Assistant to join our team in Colne. In this exciting role, you will provide essential financial and administrative support, this includes managing day-to-day financial tasks, preparing claims, and tracking customer progress to ensure compliance with funder requirements. The role will also involve maintaining accurate records and acting as the main point of contact for referrals into the service. Please be aware that this is a part-time position requiring 20 hours of work each week. This is a temporary role lasting until March 2025, with the possibility of extensions dependent on additional funding. Requirements Outline of key responsibilities for the Finance and Monitoring Officer… Assist the production of information required for monthly claims To support the setting up and maintenance of internal systems (both manual and computerised) in order to meet contractual compliance) To maintain financial records and databases to contribute to efficient and accurate reporting Liaise with the Finance Officer to provide analysis of service charge information as required and within deadlines. Ensure transactions are processed accurately and timely onto finance system in order to maintain the integrity of the financial information used for reporting purposes. To maintain and audit project claim files to an auditable standard, ensuring compliance with UKSPF requirements and advising on financial audit, accountability, and monitoring processes to satisfy audit requirements. To respond to financial / performance information requests from our funders in a timely and accurate manner To compile financial and management information reports and providing guidance to colleagues To provide high quality, general administrative support to Managers and Officers working on the Greener Together Pendle programme. To enable them to follow agreed procedures and ensure quality reporting and evidence collected. Act as the central point of contact for customers, partners, and agencies (internal and external), liaising via telephone, text, email, website, and occasionally face-to-face, ensuring excellent service delivery, maintaining service levels and standards, and keeping customers informed and updated on the status of their enquiries at all times.
