Role: IT Operations Lead
Location: Central London
Duration: Full time & permanent - Hybrid
Salary: up to £60,000 pa
Our client has an exciting opportunity for an IT Operations Lead. This role will be London-based but will support a global workforce. This position is full-time and permanent but will be hybrid (2/3 days in the office per week). The role involves significant stakeholder networking and support for global teams. The ideal candidate should enjoy working in a client-facing setting.
Duties may include (but not limited to):
* Strong organization, prioritization, and time management skills to help balance the broad scope of this role.
* Experience managing the provision of IT support across the whole spectrum of IT, ideally within a start-up/SME, problem-solving autonomously while keeping key stakeholders informed.
* Experience supporting Salesforce, Windows 10, Microsoft Office, server administration, network administration, cybersecurity, and risk management, as well as being comfortable learning new systems and software as needed.
* Experience in vendor management – raising service requests and seeing them through to resolution.
* Knowledge of IT Asset Lifecycle/Management.
* Experience managing and delivering IT projects to meet business requirements.
* Understanding of the ITIL lifecycle.
* Experience in IT policy design and adherence, maintaining parent company and external minimum standards.
* Effective communication skills with the ability to translate technical requirements into layperson language and a talent for building effective working relationships with clients, peers, and external providers.
* 1st & 2nd Line support.
* New starter IT setup.
* Working closely with our parent company who provide our network, servers, and software centrally.
* Supporting UK and Global workforce.
* Project support & management - IT Change and upgrade projects, new system implementation.
* Cybersecurity, risk & assurance.
* Support throughout the employee lifecycle - mobile & IT.
* Managing all client risk assessment requests, responding appropriately and collating information from other internal subject matter experts.
* Owning and updating the internal Risk Process Manual, summarizing it for clients and proactively providing recommendations to improve it.
* Scheduling and carrying out monitoring checks to comply with client requirements.
