We are seeking a talented and motivated Electrical / Controls Specialist to join our team and contribute to our ongoing success.
As an Electrical Engineer: You will play a crucial role in the design and manufacturing of products. You will oversee the design and implementation of sophisticated electrical and control systems while working within a team-based environment.
Responsibilities:
* Assist in the development and modification of complex electrical drawings using AutoCAD Electrical software.
* Collaborate closely with cross-functional project teams to develop intricate electrical schematics, panel layouts, and wiring diagrams in strict adherence to project requirements and industry standards.
* Have basic knowledge of the programming of PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) systems using advanced software such as CODESYS, overseeing HMI development, SCADA integration, and utilizing advanced programming including ladder logic, structured text, and C/C++.
* Conduct comprehensive testing and troubleshooting of PLC programs to ensure optimal functionality and reliability in demanding industrial environments.
* Provide feedback and ideas during design reviews, offering technical guidance to support the seamless development of projects.
* Oversee the factory acceptance test (FAT) and installation of complex electrical systems, ensuring strict compliance with safety protocols and regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
* Familiarity with AutoCAD Electrical. SolidWorks is a plus.
* Experience understanding of PLC programming concepts, with experience in programming software such as CODESYS, Machine Expert, Crimson, and other relevant tools used in the development of sophisticated control systems.
* Knowledge of ladder logic, structured text programming, and a demonstrated ability to solve complex technical challenges with precision and ingenuity.
* Knowledge of industry standards and regulations, including NEC (Electrical Code), IEEE (Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers), and IEC (International Electrotechnical Commission).
* Understanding of industrial communication protocols such as Modbus, Ethernet/IP, and others.
