The Opportunity:
We seek a passionate and skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team. As a Maintenance Engineer, you will receive a salary package of up to £40k along with the highest level of training & support. The Maintenance Engineer will be joining an Arboricultural Solutions and Land Management Equipment Services provider for over 60 years, nestled on the borders of both Warwickshire and Worcestershire. You will be a key player in our mission to deliver top-quality, high-performance Arboricultural Service & Maintenance solutions.
Role Overview:
The Maintenance Engineer will be covering the Warwickshire & Worcestershire area, inspecting, identifying electrical & mechanical faults, and diagnosing potential problems with Arboriculture and Agriculture Equipment including AS Motor Commercial Mowers, Compact Tractors, Tilrotators, Wood Chippers, Stump Grinders, RC 2-Stroke Engines, etc.
1. Repairing and maintaining equipment including brands such as Yanmar, Engcon, Famac, Intermercato, Ovis RC, etc.
2. Troubleshooting mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
3. Keeping digital records of maintenance and repairs.
4. Managing tasks and collaborating with clients to provide expert advice.
Who We’re Looking For:
1. Experience with Arboriculture, Agriculture Groundcare Equipment, or similar; gardening or plant machinery will be considered.
2. A practical, hands-on approach with great attention to detail.
3. A valid UK driver’s licence.
4. Willingness to travel.
5. Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues on AS Motor Commercial Mowers, Compact Tractors, Tilrotators, Chippers, Stump Grinders, Compact Loaders, etc.
6. Familiarity with 12/24v electrical systems and maintenance.
7. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
8. Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
9. Ability to work independently, schedule, and manage workload.
10. Good communication skills and a customer-oriented approach.
