Locala Community Stroke Service provides comprehensive rehabilitation for adults in community settings including in people’s own homes and care homes.
An opportunity has arisen for a second Nurse to join our team.
The service is based in Kirklees, West Yorkshire.
This role requires a motivated and innovative person to work within this continually developing service and it is vital that you are able to work as part of a multidisciplinary team. Experience of working with patients following diagnosis of stroke and/or neurological conditions is desirable. As a Stroke Rehabilitation Nurse, you will have your own clinical caseload as well as contributing to training, clinical supervision, and maintenance of competencies of colleagues within the team supported by the Clinical Specialists, Clinical Leads, and Team Leader. Excellent communication skills, IT skills, and flexibility are essential qualities.
