Job Description:
Success Talent have a great opportunity to work for a well-known street apparel brand as an Assistant Store Manager.
You will report to the store manager and work alongside the existing team in delivering a knowledgeable, unique and positive experience for their customers resulting in a store with strong sales growth and profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Ensure that all monthly targets set by the Store Manager are reached and exceeded.
2. Assist with creating a strong team environment for the retail team.
3. When required, assist with recruiting and development of the team.
4. Understand all current and future products and assist with educating retail team on product knowledge.
5. Assist with ordering products, stock control and responsibility for the delivery of all goods, following up with any discrepancies.
6. Carry out month and year-end retail stock takes, following strict stock control.
7. Assist with the control of the team rota.
8. Carry out daily banking procedures and assist with cashing up at the end of the shift, where necessary.
9. Ensure the customers have a positive experience whilst in the store.
Knowledge and Experience:
1. Relevant retail experience, with some in a management/supervisory position.
2. Demonstrated skill and measurable success in managing a team.
3. Driving performance through KPIs.
4. Knowledge of Retail IT systems.
5. Commerciality and merchandising skills.
6. Fluent English (spoken and written) is essential.
