We are looking for new IT Service Managers to join our team. You will help us make sure that DWP colleagues and customers alike can access the services they need. You will be part of the Live Support team supporting business critical systems used by Counter Fraud Compliance & Debt. You will provide support to members of the Debt Management Team and help ensure the quality and availability of the critical Digital products and services that the department and our users depend on. We're not looking for IT Service Management experience, though it's great if you do have some (maybe you've worked a service desk role in that past or you have an IT Support background). We'll give you full training in Service Management, leading to ITIL certifications and you'll work alongside our team of experts to learn valuable skills and build a brilliant career. More about the role Day to day you could be running morning checks to make sure our systems up and available, and that there are overnight issues. Or you might be helping individuals with specific IT problems. As part of our team, you will work on things like Providing live support to resolve incidents, problems & issues and escalating where appropriate to relevant IT service functions. Providing high quality support for all end users, understanding and trying to resolve user issues and queries, managing end user communication and expectations. Meeting or exceeding agreed SLAs and OLAs for Incident, Problem and Change Management. Provide effective and courteous service and support to colleagues and stakeholders via various channels There may be a requirement for you to provide out of hours support in this role. This is voluntary and may include evenings and weekends. Pay: We offer competitive pay of up to £30,975 Pension: You'll get a brilliant civil service pension with employer contributions worth 28.97%, worth up to £8,973 per year.
