Type: Full-time, Term-time only
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience
As a Phonics Intervention Teaching Assistant, you’ll work closely with children who need additional support to improve their phonics knowledge and reading abilities. This is a key role for those who are passionate about early literacy and want to make a positive impact on children's learning outcomes.
What you’ll be doing:
* Delivering targeted phonics intervention sessions to small groups or on a one-to-one basis.
* Supporting children with the development of key phonics skills, helping them become confident readers.
* Working closely with class teachers to monitor progress and adjust intervention strategies.
* Encouraging a love for reading through fun and engaging activities.
* Building strong, supportive relationships with students to help boost their confidence and learning.

* A strong understanding of phonics and early literacy development.
* Experience working with primary-aged children (desirable but not essential).
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage children in fun and effective learning.
* A patient and caring attitude, with a passion for helping children succeed.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
