Hours of work:
Day and night shifts across a 4-week rotating shift pattern:
1. Day Shift:
1. Week 1: 7am - 7pm - Mon, Tue, Fri, Sat & Sun (Wed & Thur off)
2. Week 2: 7am - 7pm - Wed & Thu (Mon, Tue, Fri, Sat & Sun off)
2. Night Shift:
1. Week 3: 7pm - 7am - Mon, Tue, Fri, Sat & Sun (Wed & Thur off)
2. Week 4: 7pm - 7am - Wed & Thu (Mon, Tue, Fri, Sat & Sun off)
Are you a multi-skilled engineer with an electrical bias? Want variety and the opportunity to apply your creative problem-solving skills? Joining our experienced team, you'll be carrying out electrical and mechanical maintenance, repairs and breakdown resolutions on fixed plant equipment.
The more common activities include, but are not limited to:
* Carrying out diagnostics
* Fault finding and repairs on electrical panels and instrumentation
* Supporting other Imerys sites in Cornwall
* Sourcing / ordering materials
* Being responsible for time sheets and holidays
* Ensuring prioritised tasks are being dealt with and making necessary changes to the priority plan if required
The role will include working from height and in confined spaces.

What we are looking for:
Your maintenance engineering background will be from within a production/heavy industrial environment with electrical and mechanical experience of fixed processing plant and equipment. You'll also need to:
* Have an NVQ Level 3, or equivalent in Engineering Maintenance
* Have experience of pumps, centrifuges, burners/furnaces/gas is beneficial as well as welding skills
* Legally able to drive in the UK
* Good IT skills
* High level of health, safety and environmental knowledge and awareness
