We are working for a growing not for profit organisation who are looking for temporary payroll support whilst they are recruiting additional people for their finance team.
Working in a small payroll team, you will be supporting with the processing wages for circa 600 employees.
What the Payroll Job Involves?
Working in a small payroll team you will be processinghourly and salaried staff on a monthly basis.
Processing starters and leavers including P45s and New Starter Checklists for HMRC.
Calculating holiday pay in line with current legislation as well as assessing entitlement to statutory payments, such as SMP, SPP, MSP and SSP.
You will also be responsible for uploading pension contributions to their pension provider.
Processing PAYE payments as well as meeting HMRC submission deadlines.
Producing P11ds, P60s, P45s and any other Tax related documents.
Calculating overtime payments with hourly uplifts, bonus payments and salary sacrifice entitlements such as company cars etc.
Skills required:
Experience in payroll is essential, although it can be from any industry or sector.
