Here at our new Tottenham Hale practice we have an exciting opportunity for an ambitious Head Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our small, friendly team with a salary of up to £40,000!

We look after our colleagues and genuinely care for one another, you’ll be joining our friendly team which consists of 3 vets, 2 student nurses, 1 VCA and 1 receptionist.
Our practice is situated inside one of our new concept stores and has been designed to deliver not only the highest clinical standards, but also a pleasant working environment for the whole team. We can offer you a fantastic location to work being in vibrant North London, with excellent national and international transport links, we are just a short journey from central London and international airports.
The practice itself is a very busy and fast-paced environment with an interesting case load, giving you the chance to use your nursing skills to their full potential!
About you
You will help with the daily running of the practice to ensure a high standard of care for Patients and Clients. Nurses are the heart of our practice and perform an integral clinical role in caring for our patients. You’ll have great communication and organization skills and take pride in working to a high standard. You will have an interest in and want to learn about the practice as a business, as well as how to motivate a team to achieve their personal and practice goals. The key to your success will be your ability to embrace all aspects of the Veterinary Nurse role, delivering excellent patient and client care.
As a Head Nurse, you’ll be directing the day-to-day running of the clinical team, lending a hand where needed and acting as a role model to our growing nurse and VCA team in developing their skills, as well as having managerial skills to optimize workflow.
You’ll be developing the potential of our RVNs in their individual surgical and medical interests, as well as assisting the training of the whole nurse and VCA team. You’ll be involved in appraisals and auditing of clinical care, and so must be able to inspire and motivate.
About the role
This is a full-time role working 40 hours per week, including 1 in 3 weekends. We understand the importance of a healthy work-life balance and so we can be flexible with the rota and what shifts are worked to suit you!
