Job Summary/Purpose You will be responsible for providing legal administrative support to both the Regional Solicitor and Divisional Legal Manager. You will provide an efficient, service led and cost-effective service that supports the business, particularly in relations to its key operations of land acquisition, disposal and plot sales. Please note: This is an office based role requiring to work at least 4 days a week in the office. Primary Responsibilities Amending, formatting and checking complex legal documents as directed by the RS / DLM Completion and submission of forms and applications through various on-line portals Monitoring the progress of on-line submissions, chasing up and checking for incoming correspondence and documentation Undertaking property searches via an online portal, responding to requests for further information and chasing up as appropriate Producing, updating and distributing documents including Legal Reports and Contract Packs to the business units and third parties using electronic resources, including checking title registers and obtaining relevant title documentation Producing correspondence, memoranda and documentation using audio and copy typing as directed Self-directed drafting of correspondence or documentation where appropriate Introducing and/or maintaining organised systems to ensure information is easily accessible, diarising and keeping track of key dates Maintaining filing systems, to include updating and amending both paper and electronic filing records, together with archiving records Dealing with telephone and email enquiries, referring to the appropriate member of the Legal team or other departments within the Company Administrative duties including photocopying, scanning, producing and binding engrossment documents, arranging meetings, taking minutes of meetings, managing stationery orders for the department, franking post and printing correspondence [this list is not exhaustive] Experience, Qualifications, Technical Requirements Substantial administrative support experience in a busy office environment preferably but not necessarily within a legal or property focussed setting. Used to working to tight deadlines and in a fast paced and pressurised environment. Methodical and accurate approach to all tasks with close attention to detail Extensive IT skills including the use of Word, Excel, Teams, Outlook.
