We are currently looking for a European Operations Director to join the team. This newly created role will be responsible for overseeing our Wilde portfolio within the UK and Europe. We’re growing quickly and have ambitious plans for our future, so we need someone who will support our Managing Director to lead our hotel operations to ensure our strategic goals are met as we continue to expand.

What you'll do...
Provide operational expertise and guidance to our GMs and property leadership teams:

2. Work closely and collaboratively with our GMs and their leadership teams to ensure they are aligned on company goals and objectives, monitoring and analysing key KPIs, ensuring clear accountability and ownership.
3. Support our GMs and their leadership teams to develop annual budgets to accurately forecast financial performance and to deliver financial results in accordance with those budgets.
4. Support the Managing Director and wider teams in sales, revenue, PR & brand, finance, food & beverage, operations and people, instilling the brand standards and company values into the hotel teams.
5. Working closely with our hotel teams, identify and drive growth opportunities.
6. Assist the GMs in ensuring that the brand standards for key touchpoints are clear, consistent, documented, and our teams have the tools they need to deliver these.
7. Communicate updates and changes to brand standards in line with business evolution.
8. Review guest feedback and audit scores with operations teams ensuring appropriate action is taken.
9. Stay visible and communicate with operations team on a regular basis to obtain feedback on evolution of brand standards, quality of product, service levels and overall guest and team satisfaction.
10. Work as a bridge between the brand team and the hotel operations team to help execute new brand ideas and activations, ensuring that operations input is added, and operational considerations are highlighted.
11. Partner with Pre-Opening operations teams to understand the brand standards and incorporate these into critical path actions.
12. Support the operations teams post opening to ensure all brand standards are in place, providing feedback and direction for improvement to ensure guest experience and brand awareness.
13. Work alongside our People team to identify learning & development opportunities; ensuring there are clear career pathways for emerging talent, and driving a high performance culture through our company values.
What we're looking for...
1.
2. 5+ years’ experience as General Manager in a lifestyle hospitality brand, who has a proven record of driving performance through both operational and service results.
3. Experience overseeing European lifestyle hospitality brands, and fluency in German and/or Dutch is preferable (but not essential!)
4. A commercially focused and analytical leader, constantly reviewing hotel performance and driving hotels to achieve and exceed short- and long-term goals.
5. Experience in working collaboratively to ensure targets are consistently met and exceeded.
6. Strong leadership skills, who can consistently develop positive and collaborative relationships with a variety of stakeholders.
7. Someone who thrives in a creative and entrepreneurial environment.
8. Obsessive attention to detail.
9. Significant experience of developing and executing strategic operations and financial/budget control.
10. An ability to manage change and bring teams along on a journey, mentoring, coaching and giving feedback with kindness and respect.
11. An out-of-the-box thinker, who makes brave choices and inspires others to do the same.
