Our long standing client is looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their growing commercial team based in Keighley. They are an award winning commercial and fit out contractor who pride themselves on the level of service and high standard finish. It will be a busy role for the right person and can offer the potential of further progression within the company.
Job Responsibilities
1. Managing projects from start to finish.
2. Negotiating with suppliers / sub contractors and ensuring deadlines are met.
3. Ensuring final projects are being delivered within budget.
4. Liaising with the site teams, clients and other commercial team.
5. Conducting progress meetings and updating management with the progress of the project.
6. Interpreting technical drawings, generating & following up quotations.
7. Signing off payments and final accounts for sub contractors and supplier statements.
Job Requirements
1. Must have past experience in a similar Quantity Surveyor Role.
2. HND / BSc in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
3. Driving License and your own transport.
4. Excellent communication skills.
5. Fit out / Commercial project experience would be an advantage.
