Your role will consist of: - Carry out OT assessments to identify patient needs, before planning and delivering the appropriate interventions on either an individual or group basis. - Manage and co-ordinate individual OT treatment plans, facilitate groups and oversee the unit programmes. - Compose OT reports and attend multidisciplinary meetings. - Work as a key member of the multidisciplinary team on the ward for patient care and treatment. - You will have input into designing, adapting and implementing the therapeutic timetables on the wards, as well as conducting 1:1 assessments. - Deliver supervision to Occupational Therapy Assistants where appropriate. - Develop close working relationships with professional and clinical colleagues, ensuring clinical practice is in line with Priory policies and procedures and complies with statutory regulations and quality standards. - Maintain effective communication links with patients, relatives and carers - Complete 60% of their contracted hours as clinical hours.
