About the role:
Due to some recent positive changes, my client is undertaking a large-scale implementation and transferring relevant information and data from their legacy system. As part of this, there is a need for a senior individual to lead the data and reporting migration. This will involve an individual being able to translate complex financial information to technical experts and vice versa.
As part of achieving this, the successful individual will use their experience managing the migration of financial reports and data within a complex environment. The role will be responsible for the outputs of the team, liaising and collaborating with other leads to ensure a coordinated approach whilst ensuring milestones and deadlines are met.
The individual will drive a culture of innovation whilst indirectly providing leadership to a motivated team through coaching and mentoring.
This is a strategic role that will require the ability to partner with key stakeholders, provide input and expertise, and to build credibility amongst peers and managers.
Your skills and experience:
* Significant experience and understanding of Financial and Management accounting principles
* Ideally CA qualified (or equivalent) with a tertiary qualification
* Financial systems experience ideally within a large New Zealand corporate, although experience outside of this can be considered
* Business Partnering skills with exceptional analytical ability and an understanding of BI and AI
* Demonstrated system implementation experience in project management.
* Superior communication skills, with the ability to translate complex, technical information to a broad audience.
