Job Description:
Our client is a leading pensions consultancy and due to expansion they are recruiting for a DB, Final Salary Senior Pensions Administrator to work at the forefront of the team. The job is available due to new business wins and further expansion. The successful applicant will be in a key role managing their own set of DB and some DC schemes. Previous technical defined benefit/final salary pensions experience is essential; some experience in client management and Defined Contribution schemes would be beneficial. Professional qualifications such as PMI are desirable but not essential, and they will support you in gaining such qualifications. A background within a third-party environment is desirable but not essential.
You will be working with clients who have a mixture of defined benefit and defined contribution pension schemes. Technical knowledge of cradle-to-grave pensions administration is required, along with a thorough understanding of scheme rules and current legislation and project management. Interaction with trustees, actuaries, and HNW individuals/employers is expected. There will also be quality checking, training/coaching involved at a senior level, and elements of client-facing time.
