Job Title: Delivery & Installation Assistant Contract Duration: Full time, Permanent Hours: 40 hours per week Location: Northamptonshire Start Date: February 2025 Overview: We are seeking an experienced and reliable individual to join a fast growing, global luxury appliance company. The successful Delivery & Installation assistant will provide support to the Delivery & Installation Lead Driver to safely and efficiently deliver and install an array of products to 'home delivery' customers across the UK. Key Responsibilities: Take shared responsibility for driving duties with the Lead Driver, ensuring safe and efficient transport of goods to customers' homes. Conduct regular checks and ensure the delivery van is fully operational, safe, and legally compliant for every journey. Work proactively and efficiently to meet delivery deadlines, ensuring that all goods are delivered on time and in perfect condition. Safely load, unload, and handle goods, ensuring they are transported securely. Provide outstanding customer service by interacting professionally with customers during deliveries, assisting with product placement, and resolving any concerns. Carry out the safe installation and connection of luxury appliances within customers' homes, following company guidelines and safety protocols. Remove and dispose of any old customer products when necessary, leaving the delivery site clean and tidy. Accurately complete all required paperwork, adhere to company systems, and follow defect reporting procedures to ensure seamless operations. Assist with trade deliveries and warehouse operations when required, contributing to the overall success of the team. Key Requirements: Proven experience in a delivery & installation role, ideally within the appliances or white goods sector. Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with customers and colleagues. Exceptional customer service skills, with a focus on professionalism and problem-solving.
