Job Description
* Executing audit procedures and preparing financial statements with accounting standards (FRS 102, Housing SORP).
* Analysing financial data and identifying discrepancies
* Ensuring compliance with audit processes and financial regulations
* Support in the continuous improvement of financial controls and processes to increase reporting accuracy and efficiency.
* Assisting in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts
* Presenting audit findings and recommendations to senior management
* Conducting risk assessments and implementing mitigation strategies
* Participating in financial planning and decision-making processes
The Successful Applicant
* Newly qualified accountant - ACA
* Proficiency in financial software and MS Office
* Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
* Knowledge of accounting standards (FRS 102, Housing SORP, IFRS)
* Ability to manage audits and liaise effectively with external auditors
