The role will require the successful candidate to work a shift pattern of Late & Early shifts plus alternate Saturday mornings. In this role, you’ll provide key site services including security, repairs, maintenance, and cleaning, ensuring our school remains a safe, hygienic, and welcoming space for all. As part of this role, you will; Carry out maintenance and/or cleaning routine maintenance tasks as set out in the school’s work schedules to the standards determined by the Facilities Manager and co-operate with any reasonable request for changes to daily work routines, to assist the smooth running of the school. Undertake repairs and remedial work. Oversee the work of external contractors as required to ensure compliance with The Trust Health & Safety policies. Ensure that outside areas are free of obstructions and are safe for pedestrian use, particularly during periods of severe weather conditions. The successful candidate will have; Good Literacy and Numerical skills. Experience of caretaking or premises management, building cleaning or building management. Proactive - identify and solve buildings maintenance issues and general repairs. Work in a way that promotes the safety and well-being of children and young people.
