Job summary We have an exciting opportunity for a Band 6 Health Visitor to join one of our forward thinking and innovative integrated 0-5 Intensive Support Teams in Westminster.You will be an integral part of the Local Authority Targeted Early Help Team and be reporting to and working alongside the Intensive Team Lead to deliver the 0-5 Intensive Support program. You will have a small caseload of up to 25 families with multiple and complex needs under the supervision of the Intensive Team Lead and Early Help Practice Manager, with the aim of supporting families to facilitate change thus improving outcomes for their children. The work will be guided by Systemic Practice and the Early Help Framework and operating model.Contributing to the delivery of Working Together to Safeguard Children (2018), including improving health and life chances for children and families and safeguarding those at risk. The intensive 0 - 5 programme is a new, early intervention home visiting programme delivered over the course of a year. The underlying aim of the intervention is to enhance parent - child relationships as a means to improving child development and school readiness thereby preventing escalation to statutory intervention. You will assist the Team Lead to deliver the 0-5 intensive support programme and will have the opportunity to develop high levels of professional skills and practice as well as the ability to work as part of a team.
