Senior Quantity Surveyor Salary/Rate: Negotiable depending on experience Location: Cookstown, Co. About us: We undertake the role of Principal Contractor within the Water Sector. This includes all aspects of New Build, Refurbishment, Civil Engineering and MEICA Projects. As Senior Quantity Surveyor within our Profitec business unit you will play a pivotal role within our operations team and report directly to the company Head of Commercial. You will be based in our Cookstown office, with a requirement to visit our sites across the UK and Ireland occasionally. We are open to discuss & agree a flexible working arrangement to suit individual candidates needs. Flexible working would commence upon successful completion of the candidates probationary period. Key responsibilities: Taking ownership of a number of projects from tender handover to final account Monitor and cost efficiency within the operations teams Cashflow & sales forecasting Monthly payment applications Cost/value reporting Assess and raise required sub-contract certificates as required Budget management including procurement of sub-contractors and preparation of contract documents Review and negotiate contract/sub-contract T&Cs Attendance at both internal and external meetings Promotes safe working practices within commercial function Mentor and develop junior commercial and project delivery team personnel Liaison with other departments and carrying out other duties as required.
