Promotion and progression opportunities. Main Responsibilities: Foster a warm and welcoming atmosphere that promotes resident independence and dignity. Assist in the planning and delivery of individualised care to residents. Supervise and lead a team of care assistants, providing guidance and support. Administer medications. Maintain accurate records. Perform personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming. Monitor and record vital signs, ensuring the health and safety of residents. Communicate effectively with residents, their families, and healthcare professionals. Participate in developing, implementing, and updating care plans and carrying out review meetings. Maintain a clean and organised environment in the care home. Uphold confidentiality and respect for residents’ rights and privacy. Provide companionship and emotional support to residents. Qualifications: SVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent) Previous experience in a similar role. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
