Health and Safety Manager Contract: Permanent, Full-time (37.5 hours per week) Monday to Friday between 8am and 6pm Location: Hybrid to Sheffield or Northampton Salary: Up to £45,000 per annum SUMMARY To maintain, improve and implement Health and Safety systems within the Group and ensure compliance with all relevant legislation. The role of the Health and Safety Manager is to support the Director of Governance, Risk and Compliance in all Health and Safety aspects, developing, maintaining, monitoring and coordinating Health and Safety policies and procedures, audits, and risk assessments across the Group. Supporting all areas of the business and ensuring employee safety. REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS ROLE Ability to travel across the UK Proven 3 years Health and Safety management experience Qualified to NEBOSH Diploma Qualified in NEBOSH Occupational Health and Safety Certificate (or equivalent) Hold a IOSH Management Safety Certificate (or equivalent) - preferred Knowledge of current Health and Safety legislation Risk Assessment experience - essential CORE SKILLS & BEHAVIOURS Organisational skills - good time management and priority setting Ability to identify gaps in own skills and knowledge, and request training to promote clinical development Previous experience in a commercial or corporate environment or relevant transferrable skills (desired but not essential) Good interpersonal, influencing and presentation skills Ability to follow agreed standards of practice and protocols Exemplary communication skills and good telephone manner Ability to give constructive feedback to all levels of staff Proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook and web-based portals Able to work under pressure to maintain deadlines Responsible Well Organised Professional in appearance and approach Able to work alone or as a team Trustworthy and Honest Calm under pressure Willing to learn new skills Efficient Enthusiastic and Proactive Possess a positive can-do attitude HOW TO APPLY Interested in this Health and Safety Manager opportunity?
