The Best Connection are currently recruiting for a Print Assistant, on behalf of our Client in the Crewe area, that specialise in printing and packaging. An interview for the position is required, leading to a permanent role for the right candidate.
Daily duties of the Print Assistant:
1. Shadowing a full time printer and learning the role
2. Loading/unloading the printing machines with ink
3. Ensuring printing material is loaded and unloaded efficiently
4. Keeping the area clean and tidy to ensure smooth running
5. Quality checking the end product to ensure there are no discrepancies
Shift Pattern of the Print Assistant:
All work is completed between Sunday-Friday, meaning you will also be guaranteed a Saturday off.
6. Week 1: 3 on, 4 off (Days)
7. Week 2: 3 on, 4 off (Nights)
8. Week 3: 3 on, 7 off (Days)
9. Week 4: 3 on, 2 off (Nights)
This equates to 3 x 12-hour shifts per week (36 hours) paid at £12.00 per hour. This includes 2 x 30 minutes daily paid breaks.
The pay rate will increase to £13.50 after 12 weeks continuous service.
Overtime available after you have completed the qualifying 36 basic hours per week.
This is on-going position, with permanent opportunities available after working the qualifying period of 13 weeks.
