Sales Director
CHH is embarking on a steep growth period for the organisation and as a consequence, are putting in place significant change management programmes in order to future proof the business and provide solid foundations to continue this accelerated growth. The role of Sales Director is a newly created position within the hierarchy of the company and will be a critical addition to the Senior Leadership Team. We view this appointment as being the single most important addition we will make this year.
The role requires a strategic approach to driving revenue growth, expanding market share, and managing customer relationships and will oversee all aspects of the sales function, including team leadership, performance management, and operational efficiency. The Sales Director will maintain a strong focus on business development and market positioning within the UK and help to develop the various revenue streams across the territory.
Reporting directly to the CEO, the Sales Director will be pivotal in future proofing the business from a sales/revenue growth perspective.
Essential skills and attributes
Candidates must have a demonstrable track record of high value solution sales experience across multiple verticals. Although experience within engineering/manufacturing/logistics sectors would be useful, what is more important is your commercial gravitas and proven track record in growing and developing sales funnels. Additional competencies we are looking for are as follows:
* Operated at Head of/Sales Director level developing client-focused, differentiated and achievable solutions
* Demonstrable record of exceeding sales / revenue targets
* Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close
* Ability to present and influence all levels of an organisation including Executive and C-level
