Job title: Roadspace Administrator Location: South Mimm, Potters Barr EN6 Contract length: 6 month initial contract - Potential to be extended Shift Pattern: Monday - Friday 09.00am - 17.00pm (4-8 Weeks training onsite then to move to a Hybrid model of 3 days in the office per week) Balfour Beatty, a world leader in Construction and Infrastructure, is currently recruiting for a Roadspace Administrator to join the team on an initial 6 Month contract that has high potential to extend. Training will be onsite and then the role will become Hybrid with 3 days in the office and 2 days remote working. The successful Roadside Administrator will join the Team based at the office in South Mimm, Potters Barr and once trained will have the option to work out of the Derby office if preferred. The successful Roadspace Administrator will work within the Roadspace booking team along the M25. You will be required to be proficient in I.T systems such a sMicrosoft Office, especially Excel, and be able to pick up CRM systems quickly. Street manager experience would be desirable but not essential. Responsibilities: Process and maintain accurate records of road space bookings using NOMS and NEMS systems. Input cone times and cancellations in relevant systems. Assist with the tracking and management of Time Scale Waivers (TSW) documentation and associated change control processes Monitor and maintain the Road Space inbox, answering emails and escalating queries as required. Assist with the processing of permits and TMAN applications. Update and manage cancellations, ensuring compliance with timelines and procedures. Stakeholder Liaison: Liaise with internal teams, external stakeholders and local authorities, ensuring clear communication and resolution of queries. Support Road Space coordinators in stakeholder discussions and data collection efforts Process and respond to stakeholder feedback, escalating issues to appropriate teams. Compliance and Coordination: Assist with processing maintenance work bookings and advance planning for diversions Support compliance with contractual obligations through accurate record-keeping and reporting. Team Collaboration: Provide support to Road Space coordinators by managing routine tasks to free up resources for more complex planning activities. Assist with meeting organisation, including scheduling, preparing materials and taking minutes. Skills & Experience: Previous Administrative Experience is essential Proficient I.T skills and experience of picking up different systems quickly High Level of attention to detail Organised Great communication skills and the ability to communicate with all levels of stake holders Email management Data input Logistics or planning experience would be desirable We appreciate you taking the time to view this advert.
