Wood is currently recruiting for a Materials Controller with extensive experience in the oil and gas petrochemical industry.. This role is within our TAR & Outages Team within our Operations business which will mainly be based in Aberdeen with flexible working available and there will be requirements to mobilise offshore during the TARs. Offshore certificates are expected for this role. LI-Hybrid The Role We are growing our TAR & Outages team, the successful candidate will ensure the effective receipt, storage, movement and control of all materials to support the contract and business. You will liaise with Supply Chain, user groups, third parties, client and Supply Base & Marine contractors to ensure that all materials and equipment are received, marshalled and shipped in accordance with company procedures and internal controls. In this role the Materials Controller will join a busy contract working closely with the wider Supply Chain team to ensure materials activities are carried out in accordance with the project execution within budget and in line with the project, processes and procedures. We are looking for a logistical thinker with the ability to prioritise workload, work under pressure and within a team of Materials Controllers to ensure project deadlines are met.
