Job Function:
As Financial Controller, you will oversee all financial operations for Endiprev UK, encompassing daily bookkeeping, monthly reporting, business support, financial analysis, and reporting to Group Finance. While initially focused on Endiprev UK financial operations, this role may evolve into a cross-functional position. You'll collaborate closely with key stakeholders to ensure effective financial management and decision-making. You’ll be part of an international finance team with colleagues at multiple locations in the UK and around the world. Reporting directly to the CFO in Portugal, you'll play a pivotal role in driving financial performance and supporting business objectives.
This is a full-time role based in our Sunderland office.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee daily bookkeeping activities, including management of accounts receivable, accounts payable, and bank transactions.
* Monthly reporting for business units, including analysis of revenue, expenses, and cash flows.
* Prepare monthly and annual accounts, including cost analysis and reporting.
* Compile group reporting package in accordance with IFRS.
* Provide financial support and guidance to project managers and stakeholders, facilitating informed decision-making.
* Controlling of projects, including budget preparation, follow-up, and cost analysis.
* Prepare annual budget and quarterly forecasts, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
* Continuously enhance finance workflows and processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
Qualifications and Competencies:
* Minimum 5 years of experience with the mentioned tasks, preferably within a growth-oriented organisation.
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex financial information in an easy-to-understand manner.
* Strong analytical skills and a structured approach to problem-solving.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and willingness to learn new systems.
* Positive mindset and strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
