What you’ll do day to day
* Drive the performance of each department to ensure excellent customer service and achievement of financial targets.
* Create coordinated, detailed annual plans with each Department Manager, aligned with long-term goals, covering profitability, productivity, resource control, and development targets.
* Establish and develop the retail centre organisation and control systems for the efficient operation of each department, consistent with its present and future objectives.
* Continuously monitor adverse trends and potential problems, taking corrective action in a timely manner.
* Monitor competitive threats and opportunities to ensure long-term profitability and protection of the franchise.
* Direct the activities of each department manager to ensure they and their staff contribute to the business objectives.
