Job Description
We are Lyons Holidays Parks, family owned for over 100 years! We welcome over 9,000 families to North Wales and Cumbria each year across our fourteen holiday parks, luxury hotels and restaurants. Our guests are at the heart of everything we do, we operate within an ethical culture of respect, diversity and social responsibility.
Our guests and our team members are vitally important to us and we need to ensure we build effective relationships through trust, always having an approachable, friendly and helpful attitude. This will ensure our guests feel reassured that we always have their interests at the heart of everything we do. You will have an excellent customer service attitude and good working practices with working outdoors and health and safety, and will possess the ability to work as part of a team and under pressure.
Supported by the Park Manager, as a Grounds and Maintenance Team Member you are responsible for:
Business Responsibilities:
1. Repair fixtures and fittings such as kitchen cupboards, sills, doors and frames.
2. Conduct routine preventative maintenance.
3. Adhere to policies and procedures including Health and Safety.
4. Be highly competent (and confident) in trade skills.
5. Maintain the park grounds to the highest quality and standards for our guests and owners.
6. Provide a safe and secure environment for all guests through the maintenance of the park.
7. Ensure that all work areas are presented and managed to the highest level at all times.
8. Meet all internal and statutory obligations.
9. Deliver the Lyons experience for our guests and owners through the upkeep of our beautiful grounds and gardens, contributing to guest and owner satisfaction.
10. Take a proactive approach to the Health and Safety of yourself, fellow team members, and customers.
11. A driving licence is essential.
Guest Responsibilities:
Ensuring all owners and guests know who to go to, and are given a warm welcome and first-class service, providing a positive and memorable Lyons experience.
Team Responsibilities:
1. Create and support a 'sense of community' - a real family spirit.
2. Have fun whilst working in a clean and inviting environment.
