Role responsibilities
* Leading and completing audit assignments from planning through to completion
* Preparing statutory accounts and financial statements for limited companies, partnerships and sole traders
* Supervising and mentoring junior members of the audit and accounts team
* Managing client relationships, answering queries and providing practical advice
* Ensuring assignments are completed on time, within budget and to the highest quality
* Collaborating with tax and advisory colleagues to deliver a joined-up client service
* Keeping up to date with technical knowledge and accounting standards

Candidate requirements
* ACA or ACCA qualified
* Minimum of three years’ audit experience within an accountancy practice
* Confident leading audits and preparing statutory accounts
* Strong technical knowledge of UK accounting standards
* Excellent communication skills and a client-focused approach
* Experience supervising junior staff and supporting their development
