We are looking for an experienced Junior Sister/Charge Nurse to work in the Angiography Suite/Cardiac Catheter Laboratory. A staff member who is driven by PRIDE values and willing to adapt to the challenges faced in the Trust, particularly in today's nursing climate.
We seek a staff member who is experienced or willing to learn all procedural setups (Coronary Angiogram, Transoesophageal Echocardiogram (TOE), Implantable Loop Recorder, and Cardiac Rhythm Management, including Permanent Pacemaker Implantation, Implantable Cardiac Defibrillator, and Cardiac Resynchronisation Therapy - CRT D/CRT - P). It is essential to be willing to rotate in all areas (cath lab, recovery unit) of the department and able to run the pre-assessment clinic for all procedures.
Main duties of the job
1. Manage the day-to-day running of the service in the absence of the Lead Nurse/Senior Sister Angiography Suite.
2. Provide support to the Lead Nurse/Senior Sister in efficiently leading and managing the unit.
3. Be responsible for the clinical organization of the Nurse-Led Pre-Assessment Clinic.

Education/Qualifications
* Substantial experience in Cardiology/Cardiac Catheter Lab experience.
* Registered Nurse (RN 1).
* IV cannulation and venepuncture.
* Leadership course.
Experience/Knowledge
* Established experience in acute settings.
* Interventional Lab experience.
