Special Educational Need Teaching Assistant Do you have experience with primary aged boys? Do you have experience with Autism/ADHD? Could you support primary pupils on a 1:1 basis? Teaching Personnel are working alongside a primary SEN school that is based in the Haywards Heath area. The school are in need of educators who are able to build strong relationships with their primary aged boys as well as providing them encouragement academically and during physical education. You will be expected to work alongside the pupils on a 1:1 basis, it’s important that you’re out-going and have a bubbly personality. About the School: The SEN school cater for primary aged boys between the ages of 6-12 years of age. All boys will have the following needs: Autism, ADHD and at times Challenging Behaviours. The school have outstanding facilities including forest schooling and a 4G outdoor football pitch that the boys regularly use and train on. About the Role: The chosen SEN Teaching Assistant will be expected to work on a 1:1 basis with the primary boys who attend the school. You will be supporting the boys during class, in-between class and during school outings. It’s important that you build strong rapport with the pupils as you will be supporting them throughout the day – academically and socially.
