As an Account Manager Team Leader, you will be managing and developing your team of Account Managers to effectively manage their portfolio of accounts, ensure every customer is given the highest level of service, identify and maximising on all growth opportunities and detect and mitigate all risks through rigorous and effective pipeline management. This role covers the surrounding areas of Derby, Birmingham and Sheffield which requires frequent travel across your territory. Responsibilities Lead, recruit, develop, and motivate your team of Account Managers to deliver a world class service to an existing customer base within your team’s portfolio. Effective performance management, monitoring activity KPI’s and sales results, regular communication, direction, coaching, feedback, encouragement, and reviews. Be visible, build strong lasting relationships and play an active role in the development of all Customer accounts to include attending dual appointments with Account Managers, submit ‘winning’ bids and proposals and deliver compelling presentations. Actively network within the business to develop strong business relationships, maintaining effective communication channels and working together to resolve issues and maximise customer satisfaction. Drive a robust pipeline management system across your team, making sure that all customer pipelines are built, sales activity plans are developed and implemented, SLAs are met, risks are identified, explored, and mitigated and growth opportunities are maximised to conversion. Accurate financial forecasting and reporting to Customer Development Director Be the point of escalated customer enquiries and complaints to resolution by phone, electronically and in person.
