Description
We are looking for a proactive, enthusiastic Administrator to join our Exams Team. To support the Exams Officer to manage and complete the administration and invigilation of all internal and external exams/assessments and to assist with the administration of learner records, registrations and certification.
Working hours - 08:00 to 16:30 Tuesday to Friday, on site based. Contract - Fixed term, maternity cover. This role is 52 weeks.

Key Responsibilities
Supporting Registration, Exams & Certification Administration:
1. To assist in all areas of exams, registration and certification administration where required.
2. To provide administrative support to the Exams Officer, contributing to the recording of learner aims and the ILR.
3. To liaise with teams across College, students and families as well as varying Awarding Bodies.
Supporting the Co-ordination and Under-taking of Exams:
1. To assist with the ordering of papers in required formats from awarding bodies and secure storage.
2. To assist the Exams Officer to ensure all internal and external student examinations are effectively planned and organised in a timely manner in accordance with exam regulations.
3. To support the Exams Officer in the co-ordination and supervision of the team of invigilators, making detailed arrangements for each exam sitting.
4. To plan and produce timetables, seating plans and desk cards for all exams.
5. To arrange the printing of exam papers and delivery/collection of exam materials to and from all exam rooms (from secure storage too).
6. To undertake exam invigilation in line with JCQ and Awarding Body requirements.
7. To support the Exam Contingency instructions.
8. To support the Exams Officer with collating Access Arrangement reports and ensuring appropriate levels of support are in place during exams.
9. Be aware of and comply with policies and procedures relating to child protection and safeguarding; health and safety and security; confidentiality and data protection and complete online training, when directed.

1. Participate in learning and development activity relevant to performance in the post or to the College as a whole.
Other Duties:
1. Undertake any other duties not listed above that are commensurate with the role, as directed by the Exams Officer or Assistant Principal Quality & MIS.
