A primary school in the BL8 area is currently looking to recruit a professional and committed individual for the role of SEN Support Teaching Assistant to help create engaging educational experiences for children across Key Stage 1. The school prides itself on building strong relationships built on trust, with both parents and pupils alike. This role would be 8.30am-3.30pm, Monday-Friday, starting after the Easter break, term-time only, until the end of the academic year (July 2025). Relevant education-based qualifications (level 2/3 education-based qualification) are preferred but not essential. Within this role, you will be expected to support with pupils with a range of special educational needs and disabilities; to encourage positive behaviour and to work together with other SEN Support Teaching Assistants and class teachers. You will get involved in the pupils’ learning of foundation subjects (maths, English and phonics) and support those pupils with additional needs.
