Exposure to S&OP and Gate reviews, learning how the strategy of the business aligns and impacts Great development and career opportunity with the ability to influence across the OME business, cross-functional collaboration and strategic impact Our Opportunity We have a great opportunity for a Sales and Operations / Data Analyst to join Thales Optronics and Missile Electronic (OME) who provide visual systems to customers in the UK and overseas. The primary purpose of the role is to support an effective Sales and Operations (S&OP) service by managing the data and information from multiple sources and stakeholder groups to form the core business plans necessary to support effective project and business planning. Key Responsibilities and Tasks: Supporting the S&OP team and providing your insight to improve and develop new tools and processes through to deployment. Supporting the S&OP review cycle; preparing & analysing data for review. Collating outputs from each work stream, preparing for all associated reviews, and making packs available with sufficient time before the review. Working with business leads, project controllers and project leads to provide the most accurate view of demand that is possible. Working with resource and functional managers to produce realistic headcount projections About You: You Have: Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, in particular Excel and PowerBI with the ability to learn quickly. Experience working with large volumes of data would be an advantage. Attention to detail is essential with the ability to manipulate data, review outputs and correct errors in large spreadsheets. Able to work to a regular drum beat of reporting and reviews whilst coping with Ad-Hoc requests for additional analysis and reports. Interest in business processes and planning, with a desire to introduce improvements.
