We are looking for dedicated Surface Finishing & Treatment Team Members to support our precision manufacturing processes on a temporary basis. In this role, you will be responsible for various surface treatment tasks such as plating, coating, and painting components for high-performance applications.

This role is based on a Temporary Basis - which is ongoing with Guaranteed weekly hours
These roles will be on a 2 shift rotation pattern
A shift - Monday - Thursday - 6ampm and Friday 6ampm
B Shift (20% Premium) Monday - Thursday 13.25pmpm and Friday 12.35pmpm
Hourly rates for these roles vary depending on experience starting from £11.79 - £15.31 - This will be discussed at Interview
Your Time at Work
- Apply plating, coating, and paint finishes to components, ensuring adherence to technical and quality standards.
- Operate and monitor surface finishing equipment, including plating baths and painting booths.
- Inspect treated components for quality, ensuring even coverage, proper adhesion, and finish uniformity.
- Perform routine maintenance on finishing equipment to prevent downtime and ensure consistent quality.
- Prepare surfaces for treatment by cleaning, deburring, or sanding as needed.
- Document finishing processes, including materials used, batch numbers, and quality control checks.
- Follow strict safety protocols when handling chemicals and operating machinery, ensuring a safe work environment.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize finishing processes and improve overall production efficiency.
Our Perfect Worker
The ideal candidates will have experience in surface finishing processes and a keen understanding of quality control standards. If you have a background in industrial finishing, coatings, or plating, and enjoy working in a fast-paced production environment, we encourage you to apply! We are willing to seek and speak to applicants with minimal experience in the above.
With a background in manufacturing/production, though this is NOT essential.
You will require a good work history, a keen eye for detail and a willingness to work and learn a new skill
