Today, we have more than 2,000 MW built across our various photovoltaic projects, located in 17 countries (including Chile, Trinidad and Tobago, Italy, the UK, etc.). We are currently seeking a Health and Safety Officer (H&S Technician) to join one of our projects in the United Kingdom. The selected candidate will be responsible for ensuring safety and sustainability on site, managing risks, and promoting responsible practices within the team and the surrounding environment. They will ensure compliance with regulations regarding Occupational Health and Safety and Environmental Protection throughout the project lifecycle, from start to finish. The main duties of the position will include: Drafting and updating the Health and Safety Plan, Environmental Plan, and Quality Plan for the project, as well as the corresponding annexes. Monitoring the health and safety budget for the project. Processing worksite opening permits, subcontractor books, etc. Conducting regular inspections regarding occupational risk prevention, ensuring legal compliance. Participating in regular meetings with various subcontractors to monitor legal compliance and coordinate activities. Conducting training and awareness sessions. Inducting all new site personnel. Monitoring waste management and environmental practices on site. Acting as the liaison with the Health and Safety Coordinator, public authorities, and the client. Investigating accidents and incidents on site. Supervising the coordination of business activities with the different subcontractors on the project. Reviewing the occupational health and safety documentation of subcontractors. Providing first aid and acting as part of the emergency response team on site. Issuing Work Permits and monitoring machinery and equipment usage on site. Required professional profile : Qualification as a Higher Technician in Occupational Risk Prevention, Master's in Occupational Risk Prevention, or similar. At least 3 years of experience performing the duties described above in the construction or renewable energy sectors. Knowledge of ISO 45001 and 14001 standards. Proficient in office tools at a user level (Microsoft Office Suite). A valid driving licence. A medium-advanced level of English. Specific training in risk prevention for international projects (NEBOSH, TPRL, IOSH, VCA, etc.) is desirable.
